I am Nick Martin, a certified HVAC Journeyman, ISO Cat IV vibration analyst and Level I Infrared thermographer, with a passion for solving customer problems. I have a core set of principles and standards that I hold myself and my team to that are the foundation for which RSG is built upon. These standards can be found in our Mission Statement.

Born in Illinois, I have lived in multiple places in the north and the southeast. Having attended 6 different schools during my primary education, I learned to quickly adapt to changes in people, environments, and situations. While in high school, I began taking night classes at Alamance Community College to obtain my degree in HVAC. Before graduating high school, I was hired by one of North Carolina’s largest commercial and industrial HVAC company. There I was able to receive my HVAC journeyman card as well as develop and hone diagnostic and repair abilities. During my progression as an HVAC technician, I began to move into reliability related services and solutions, obtaining my ISO cat IV vibration analyst certification and my Level I Infrared certification. I became the go-to resource for complex system problems and repairs. I have been referred to as the guy to call when no one else knew how to or wanted to do something.

My +20 year background in repairs, maintenance and reliability has given me unique insight into mechanical systems, design, and operation. This insight has led me to develop techniques in repairs and diagnostics that benefit you greatly in equipment reliability, limited downtime, efficiency, and revenue impact.
